Sacred Temple of Saint Cuthbert
What began as a humble shrine atop a sacred rise has grown into a majestic sanctuary, its grand halls adorned with golden filigree, silver embellishments, and jeweled symbols of faith.
As the largest and most influential religious institution in the Free City, the followers of Saint Cuthbert have long sought to reflect their divine prosperity with a temple befitting their faith.
Every Godsday, the temple hosts round-the-clock ceremonies, drawing the faithful from all walks of life. The rest of the week, the temple serves as a haven for priests, acolytes, and supplicants, whether they be devout followers or the destitute seeking the god’s favor.
The temple is led by High Priestess Eritai Kaan-Ipzirel, an 11th-level cleric of unwavering devotion. She is aided by two 6th-level ascetics and twelve 1st-level pupils, all belonging to the Billets of St. Cuthbert, clad in humble rust-brown garments as a mark of their faith. Their mission is simple: to aid those who have proven their devotion to the god.
Though the temple's inner sanctum holds treasures of immense value—including gold and silver artifacts worth over 15,000 gp and jewels valued at 4,000 gp—it remains unprotected by conventional guards. Such is the strength of their faith and the power of their god that they are forewarned of any plot against their sacred halls. Thieves who dare to test their luck will find themselves swiftly and mercilessly punished by divine wrath.
