Left Hand Inn

A nondescript, dimly lit establishment, the Left Hand Inn offers cheap food, drink, and lodging.

Its owner, known only as "Mad Al," is a surly and silent man whose cutting remarks and thoughtless insults have driven away most of his regular customers. As a result, the inn is often quiet and nearly empty, making it an ideal spot for avoiding unwanted attention.

The inn’s name originates from its original left-handed proprietor, and it maintains a peculiar tradition: anyone who can land a dagger into a small bull’s-eye target over the bar using their left hand gets their food and drink for free.

The one lively night at the Left Hand Inn is Earthday Eve, when laborers anticipate the upcoming Freeday. On this night, the inn hosts knife-throwing contests, offering a 20 gp prize for both left-handed and right-handed categories.

If the PCs choose to compete, the DM should determine the attack bonus of other skilled knife throwers. Each participant takes turns throwing and elimination occurs upon a miss. However, if all contestants miss in a round, the round is repeated.
