Castle Ardinham

The Guardians of Greyacre have a newly constructed small castle available to them, which offers many of the amenities required to be an adventurer.

The Ward

Visitors to the castle are greeted by a grand statue of Lord Phillius Ardinham, one of The Council of Dragons original members. The whole welcome area is a common room with booths and tables available for parties to meet contacts and enjoy a drink. The entrance to the castle is entrenched in a powerful spell, stopping any arcane, religious or otherwise magic being cast in the area. This is largely to stop anyone sneaking into the castle as a decoy for an adventurer and fooling the garrison of guards equipped with truesight.

The Grand Hall

Leading from the entrance, The Grand Hall is a huge, octagonal, often bustling, room with many corridors and doors going off it. The Hall is the place for adventurers to kick back with a tankard, convince an apprentice to join their ranks, form alliances with other parties, or enquire about services outside of the usual offering. The room is lavished with comfortable lounge chairs, benches and tables, tapestries, unique art, and trophies. The whole room has been designed with air of success and healthy competition.   Every request or promise that happens at Castle Adinham is logged by a strong Amanuensis spell, that keeps an original record with Thalia Oloren. Parties are encouraged to store a modest amount of gold in the vaults, so purchases can be made without coin exchanging hands.   The current services and establishments are the current occupiers of that space in Castle Ardinham. The businesses here get rotated every four years.

The Orange Pony

Along the back wall of The Grand Hall is a bar for purchasing ale, mead, and rich, tasty meals. The bar staff are on a constant rotation, but the usuals are Audreyn Bophubb the halfling bar manager, Finaeli Nalllithe, the high elf cook, Podon Uriros the gnomish waiter, and Elyel Haelond the half-elf waitress.

Contracts Desk

The contracts desk is run by Othokent, a black-spiked Dragonborn with blue eyes. The desk offers some very important services to adventuring parties, as below.
Contracts
Pick up new contracts or update the organisation on completed or failed contracts. Parties will have the opportunity to choose from local (and easier) contracts from the quest board, or receive a more lucrative official contract.
Companion Market
As is the life of an adventurer, party member lives will often be lost to foul beasts. Similarly, not all bold adventurers see eye to eye. This gives an opportunity for official transfers between adventuring parties, with an active companion market at all times.

Clink 'n Clank

Ebon Bladerock is the dwarven proprietor of this blacksmith and armourer store. He sells fine weapons and wares for a good price, or second hand gear for a fair price. Most items can be found here, or if it can't he knows where to get it.
Item appraisals
Ebon knows a thing or two about magic items. He can often tell an items value from studying it for a short while, and has an impeccable memory for past appraisals.
Finding buyers and sellers
Ebon used to work in the city, so he has contacts. Parties at higher level can take advantage of his network and retrieve buyers and sellers for magic items. Some services are only available to higher-ranked parties.

The Fair Kraken

This general goods store is run by Atheena Lunadream, a 50-something human with a bald head and extravagant jewellery. The shop provides goods to most of the adventuring parties here.
Adventuring Gear
Atheena is usually well stocked in ropes to lanterns and everything in between, with a price you won't get elsewhere.
Components
Components with no value are free. Components with a value are usually cheaper than most other places.
Potions & Scrolls
A generous stock of potions and scrolls that change on a daily basis.

End of the Road

This store is essential for the travelling adventurer. It's run by Gonk Bloodbasher, a late-5o's orc with short, braided, brown hair shaved on the right side and brown eyes, and she won't take any shit from you!
Vehicles and mounts for sale
Gonk has a fair supply of horses and carts for adventurers to buy or rent. Deposits are required.
Stables and grooming
Gonk also offers stables and grooming services, paid for on a daily subscription. She usually charges 1sp/day for stable and food, and an additional 1sp/day for grooming.
Faster-travel
End of the Road also offers some teleportation or wind walk services to some parties, but they're mostly too dear to be worth it.

Children of the Mybezor Temple

The current resident church is one of the Children of the Mybezor. Part of their contract is to offer services to adventurers. Some of the acolytes that can be found include Serilye Garaitinu, a 68 year old female firbolg with a long, red mohawk, Berinon Mistsplitter, mid-20s humanwith short, wavy, brown hair and brown eyes, and Thrimal Mudbelt, a 225 mountain dwarf with very long, curled, brown hair and gray eyes.
Healing
Basic healing is available to all parties by the clergy at the church. More advanced healing is available at a cost (or free for higher ranked parties), as well as resurrection, stone to flesh, and other ailment fixes.

Firing Range

Trusted parties have access to a firing range for testing new cantrips and spells. Caution is heavily advised here. It's run by Gorvenal Stonesworn, a 20 year old male with very long, wavy, golden hair shaved on the right side and golden eyes.
Spell Scrolls
Some spell scrolls are also available here, with more a destructive flavour than available at The Fair Kraken.

The Vault

Adventurers are encouraged to set up an account with the vault for easy transactions throughout the castle. The vault has a bared window and is run by a handful of elves, who include Galure Garaitinu with cropped, wavy, white hair and cyan eyes, and Findelye Elendiir wood elf with short, curled, gray hair and golden eyes.
Storage
Parties may store unlimited coin and gems here for free. However, other magic and mundane items will incur a fee for lower-ranked parties.
Linked Accounts
The minds of Lockmage have been working on the means for a Bag of Holding to automatically connect to private vaults, giving the bearer access to infinite resources. Just don't lose it!

The Archives

The archives are available for parties at a higher rank, but provide invaluable service for adventurers. It's run by Adriel Rhuivaul, a high elf with short, wavy, red hair and black eyes.
Research
History on the world and past events. Basic access will give details on towns, cities, large families and settlements. Full access will give research studies from Lockmage, diplomacy treaties, and original ancient texts.
Contact Lookup
The workers at the archive will do their best to help experienced adventurers to track down certain people, or learn about their whereabouts within the confines of the law.
Assistant Hiring
Assistants do the simplest day-to-day stuff - act as couriers/messengers, run errands, minor investigation. Assistants are only permitted IN the city or its immediate (less than a day away) surroundings.

Official Chambers

Where the officials work. No access to adventurers under ANY circumstance.

Lodgings

Shared and private lodgings for adventurers. Shared lodgings include dorms of up to 7 with shared amenities. Private lodgings include separate rooms and apartment-level features. Higher level parties get accommodation purchased for them elsewhere.
