Exploration Model

Similar to the Military Models in the sense that they can withstand a good deal more Synapse Strain than other models.

Exploration Models use the extra strain to house upgrades and augmentations that aid in their mobility. Most models like this are similar to the rock-climbers of old, though the pitons of old are largely phased out, or at the very least only used to aid other M models. They also have some unique studs constructed through their skeleton, giving them access to certain augmentations that few other models can access.

The Exploration Models will often have clawed hands and tows to climb the megafauna of the Wilds, or magnetized palms and fingerpads to climb the skyscrapers of the old world. Some have energy lines they use to swing from place to place, or a few simply cram enough muscle into themselves to simply drive their hand into the surface of whatever they seek to climb.

They also tend to have built-in rebreathers, oil lungs, different spectrum eyes, chemical and atmosphere analyzers, and many other tools for overcoming the environmental hazards they might come across.
