Autonomous Mental Platform

The blanket title for most forms of synthetic life in the modern age, AMPs can be found in all walks of life and in every profession. 
Using the Machine-Mind, the mental capabilities of a living being, human or not, can be placed within the synthetic shell. This is how the Ms are produced, as well as the many hundreds of models of synthetic animals used throughout every facet of society. 
The 'Platform' part of "AMP" varies wildly. Some models are humanoid, other's are replica animals, others still are in between the two. It all depends on the job that needs doing.
