    North-Centralian War
    Military action

Tensions between the Centralian Union and the Northern Federation came to a head in 17 PE, when the Centralians declared war and invaded the lower regions of the North. Little did both sides know, this war would mark both of their downfall. The harsh winters of 9 PE drained the North of its ability fo fight even as the Centralians were suffering attrition. The declaration of war by Verdon in 7 PE was initially read by Centralia as an alliance between its new enemy and the North, so no peace overtures were made for two years and the two sides continued to fight on even as Verdon invaded. Peace was finally made in 5 PE, but too late to save Centralia. The country fell four years later, and on top of its remains the Empire was founded.

    Military action

The siege held for seven months with Imperial supply lines holding strong and the city slowly withering away into starvation. After several desperate attempts to break the siege, a representative of Chissa delivered an unconditional surrender to the Imperial General on 9/3 EY 212. The Imperial army entered the gates as the Thessian government evacuated everyone they could. Chissa adamantly insisted on staying and was executed by the the Imperial forces.
