Demographics

70% Human 13% Dark Elf 8% Orsenman 5% Halfling 4% Other

Government

The town is run by Graf Nakmah, a member of a The Free Cities family who took on a Verdonese noble title. He has strong ties both to Erek and the Empire. There are several notable townspeople who he and the townspeople trust mutually and these individuals represent the town's interests to him.

Defences

The town guard is about 50 men, mostly armed with light armor, a spear, a shortsword, and a buckler. Elder Graf Nakmah's personal bodyguard is a huge Orsenman named Pelthas who carries a giant warhammer and heater shield, and owns plate armor he doesn't wear usually because it's too hot and nothing ever happens around here anyway.

Infrastructure

Water from springs in the western hills flows down into the desert here. There is some farming and herding in the hills to the west. A road west to Centralia is one of the major routes into the Empire.

Guilds and Factions

Like Beldhune and many other Free Cities, the townspeople are divided into Camels and Foxes, who support and oppose imperial rule. The Graf, obviously, is a diehard Camel.

Architecture

Acabah is mostly comprised of rudimentary adobe huts. Because of the Elder's recent beautification campaign, some of the rudimentary adobe huts now have colored canopies and window planters.

Geography

The Springs of Acabah flow west into the town of Acabah

Natural Resources

Acabah is a small trading town that has few natural resources, although the hot springs alone make it an excellent place to live on the desert's edge. Graf Nakmah is trying to make Acabah into a health resort where people can take advantage of the hot springs' supposed healing effects.
