The Great Game

The Marquesse Baron Baudelaire is removed from power, and an outsider sits on his throne. Though the Proceurer acts to steer the city away from corruption he will at some point be required to yield authority, and factions of the city are locked in existential political maneuvering to ensure it's their own--or someone sympathetic towards them--who ends up on top.
