The Church of the Golden Flame has for a thousand years kept alive the fire left behind at the end of a great comsmic conflict. Centerred on the material plan, it left the workd scarred but allowed the previous good empire to form. Worship includes starring into the flame which offers prophectic visions and divine insight, at great cost from frequent use. The church follows the teaching of the most ardent prohpects, and holy symbols are forged in the flame.
Every priory keeps the flame burning at an alter. Should it go out for any reason, someone will have to pilgrimage to Cathedral of St Cateline and safely transport the flame back.
