Cervus Mountain Mining

The majority of the mountains are made of iron-rich basalt, with ores that are economically viable to extract and refine being distributed throughout the mountains. To the rich and lucious north is a significant amount of coal from promordial forests. To the south is copper and lead that produces a small amount of silver as a byproduct of refinement; in the far south Beaumont Mine contains veins of pure enough sliver to harvest directly, with speckled flakes of Dawnsilver being found from time to time.   As a result of this distribution, Beaumont Mine has a near-monopoly on silver, with the lesser unaffiliated mines before forced to settle for copper and lead, although some prosepction south of the city may find small veins that can be harvested by well prepared mine companies.
