Game of Tomes is a team-based event set in a modern, urban-fantasy world.
Writers choose a House to be their team and turn in word counts throughout the event month. The House with the highest word count at the end of the event wins the Iron Tome.

Game of Tomes is a fast paced competition where all the Houses of the living try to out-write the Undead Horde. The Undead Horde takes over the House with the lowest word count at each results stream and gains one third of the writers from the fallen House.

April and July

Tourney of Tales is a more relaxed, friendly competition between the Houses.

In our Lore, writers use powerful magic based on the written word, called Literomancy, to affect the world around them. We chose this because we truly feel that the written word can change people and ultimately our world.

How to Play

1. Pick a House to represent
2. Join a participating Game of Tomes stream
3. Write! (or edit)
4. Count your words using the rules to the right
5. Select the Channel Point Reward for the House you are writing for
6. In the text box, type the number of words you are redeeming
7. If writing for a Minor House, type the name of the Minor House
8. Hit enter, or the "Chat" button
9. The bot will count your words. It will take 10-20 minutes for them to show up in your tally
10. Words can be reported either one writing sprint at a time, or before the end of a stream

Additional Rulings

Count in favour of the writer and round up!

You may only redeem up to 10,000 words per redeem!

You may only redeem your words in the stream they were written in!

Up to 2,000 words of Research may be claimed on the first day of the event (Until 23:59:59 UTC-10) without project words

You may only claim up to the total number of words written in your project for Research
