The Mourning Call
A ritual to invoke Lady Sythra, The Endless Grief's presence and to offer a tribute to her from those lost.
Execution
Process
- The worshipper sits at the altar, placing the wilted flower at the center. The black candle is lit next to it.
- The shard of glass is held in the hands, and the worshipper gazes into it, focusing on their sorrow, trying to reflect on their grief or the loss of someone important.
- The salt is sprinkled around the flower in a circle, symbolizing the tears that have been shed and the sorrow that remains.
- The worshipper then chants a prayer to Lady Sythra, acknowledging the grief they hold, saying, “Endless sorrow, endless grief, let your weight burden me, let your presence be my grief.”
- The candle is extinguished after the chant, and the ritual ends in silence, with the worshipper meditating on their pain.
Components and tools
