Inedel

Inedel is a modest mining town positioned on the border of the Grenbel Woods, nestled in the shadow of towering mountain ranges. Though lacking the advancements of Prul, Inedel plays a vital role in mining ore and gemstones, with much of its trade funneled to Trealing. The town’s rugged charm is shaped by its hardworking residents, including a significant population of Goliaths who excel in the physically demanding work of the mines.

Government

The town is led by Mayor Anisa Greewich, a shrewd and pragmatic individual who works to maintain balance between the citizens and the miners. However, the true power in Inedel lies with the head of the mining faction, "The Stonetooth Collective," currently led by a seasoned Goliath named Gron Ironfoot. Gron’s role in the town is crucial, as the mines are the lifeblood of Inedel’s economy.

Industry & Trade

Mining drives Inedel’s economy supported by blacksmithing and glassblowing for trade mostly with Trealing. Goods like raw ore and uncut gemstones are exported over to Prul for refinement while essentials and luxuries are imported.

• A lively area near the mines where workers gather after their shifts for entertainment, food, and commerce

The Emberforge Ring

• A district named after the fiery glow of the forges where blacksmiths, glassblowers, and metalworkers craft tools for mining and products to be shipped out.

Guilds and Factions

The Stonetooth Collective 

• The primary mining faction in Inedel, comprised mostly of Goliaths. They are responsible for the extraction of precious materials, including Vitralite, and are the de facto ruling power in town, with Gron Ironfoot at the helm.

History

Inedel began as a small settlement of prospectors seeking fortune in the rich veins of the mountains. Over time, it grew into a larger mining town, attracting Goliaths from nearby regions to take advantage of the area’s resources. The discovery of Vitralite and the development of Halcyon Glass gave Inedel a boost in trade, bringing prosperity. The mayor, while having final say, must also defer to the powerful mining faction, "The Stonetooth Collective," who hold the real influence in town matters. Due to the large minority of Goliath's there, the Grugach elves stopped their expansion into this territory and have recently looked more northward for their expansion.
