Cosmos Fruit Tree

A special tree blessed and presented to the Detoran. It is the life source from the birth to death.They were given the tree as a gift and task to protect by Solspiritus. The lives of Detoran are tied to it during their baby lives. Fruit are harvested and cut in half length wise. They place the babies inside the thick fruit inside( which is like a mixture of orange and coconut milk texture) to absorb through the skin. After a month or two babies will develop teeth to chew (though it is barely required,but the baby at this point will try to eat on their own). The fruit in studies since arrival of humans found it also brings a healthy dose of vitamin C.

Basic Information

Anatomy

These large trees resemble maple trees. They can live in any environment and sprout fruit all year long. Cosmos Fruit are small in size (about the size of a coconut). The outside is hard much  and must be cracked on very rare occasions do they actually grow large (watermelon size). The fruit is placed a baby tubs for baby Detorans to asorb through the skin since they don't feed via milk as parents don't have nipples.

Growth Rate & Stages

Cosmos often grow pretty fast compared to other trees,from seed to sapling it takes six months within two years the trees growth spurt depending on location makes its effect. Three years is what it takes Cosmos to reach maturity during the period of growing fruit,it is when it elderly is when it develops the MOST fruit.

Ecology and Habitats

These hearty trees can grow in all locations of the planet. Stories tell how the first chieftains and shamans took seeds and left when they created their own tribes. It is unknown if they would thrive in deserts or shed as there are no deserts.

Biological Cycle

Much like Earth evergreens they are diligent and rarely leaves fall. Scientists have been debating if it should be a closer family tree of evergreen.

Two trees were given as a truce and agreement after the war, both originated from Hibernis Mountain one was given to the USA and at located at United States Botanic Garden the second one is in Yoyogi Park in Tokyo,Japan.
