Wasted Lands

A blasted desert surrounding a tumultuous and perpetually stormy bay. It is One of the least hospitable places on the continent - home to sand-buried ruins, glassy plains, The Horrors and other aberrations.
The only full-time inhabitants (if you can even call them that) are Kobolds (aka SunScales), who live in the mountains ringing the wastelands, and make a living by scavenging from ruins in the desert.
