Burgher (Burger)
Requirements
Must be no younger than 19 Years of age for Humans, Half-Men, Halflings, and other similarly lived peoples. Thos of longer lives such as elves will be considered elegible at no less than 25 years of age.
The person must be sponsored by someone of a noble house or with acreditted station (someone with a civil title such as burgher, or an honorary title granted by a noble such as knighthood)
They must have 750 GP to pay to the city in order to begin thier campaign.

Appointment
Elections are held in Kuthona. Most of them set the final voting day to the 15th of Kuthona. Elections are held every five years from the first appointment of the Barony they occupy. The winner of the election is then given the key to the city inscribed with the image of Abadar. Depending on the wealth of the settlement various other treasures and stipends would also be granted the new Burgher.
Duties
They adminsiter to the town. determining the expenditures of the treasury and are responsible for the conscription of troops to the Baron's army.
