Ignaci is a current attendant at the Magaambya, representing the Emerald Boughs at the Spire Dormitory.
Description
Appearance
Ignaci is a tall, slim Taldane human, hair pulled back in a braid. He is a handsome man who maintains a disheveled outfit and neatly kept stubble. He wears a green vest as a signal of his branch, and has an ironwood mask of a leopard on his hip.
Personality
Ignaci is charming, and has a tendency to playfully tease people he feels close to (like Mariama). He sometimes goes into conversations about conspiracies, and talks about the myths of the world in earnest, which is disarming as much as his looks.
He has shown a keen interest in helping others, which aligns with the Emerald Boughs, and offers advice to others. Although he's an attendant, he tends to have a more laid-back attitude about his role as a leader, while maintaining rules.

Past Events
Ignaci was recruited by the Magaambya in his youth, as he lived in Anthusis, while it was under the control of Cheliax. Mariama and him are childhood friends. He has mentioned he helps rebel forces break away from Cheliax in Vidrian.

S:02 "The Only Part Of You That Burns in Hell is the Part That Won't Let Go"
The Anteater Cohort fight and defeat a couple of summoned spirits in the middle of the road towards the dining area of the Academy, which is where Ignaci and Mariama introduce themselves. Mariama explains she was trying to show off to Ignaci her summoning techniques, which Ignaci playfully teases her in her efforts. He begins helping the various stalls that were broken by the summoned creatures.
S:03 "Leap Into Hell and Kill the Devil Himself"
During dinner, Ignaci mentions he's also part of the Spire Dormitory, and is an attendant there, explains to the group that he offers his services as an alchemist as well.
S:05 "Yeah, yeah…the flesh empire. We've all seen it"
As they move to the fourth task, Ignaci and Strands approach the Cohort with elephant birds. Ignaci introduces Strands-of-Glowing-Dawn, and then presents the fourth task of mail delivering across Nantambu, and speaks on the importance of these tasks. The task isn't as simple, as much of the letters have vague addresses, with some even addressed to Gods.
S:06 "Aggravated As-Salt"
When the Cohort returns from a successful task complete, they are surprised and greeted by Ignaci and Strands with a feast. Iganci applauds the party for a successful task, and talks about the importance of the Emerald Boughs tasks, as not only is it important to help the many around you, but to spread the message of the Magaambya, almost as recruitment. Ignaci takes this opportunity to talk a bit about their own past, how someone from the Magaambya did the same for him, and helped him when he was younger, while living in Cheliax rule. He spoke on the sadness of the colonization from Cheliax, and mentions how he's helped the rebel forces who broke away from Cheliax in Vidrian.
He mentions he also helped his childhood friend, Mariama, and is very close with her.
During the feast, Orvin mentions what's the deal with Lesedi, and Ignaci explains Lesedi acts brash and like a bully, more as a test than actually being so. She does so to see if people act on her behavior, to see if people will stand up for others.
Ignaci makes a comment about the initiates that have stayed, and how many more will quit by winter. Hopefully, more will be accepted.
S:07 "He Tampered in God's Domain"
After the Introduction Ambush, Ignaci was seen tending to Mariama's wounds. He would not stop fussing on her throughout the walk back to the Spire Dormitory.
During the meeting called by Adira, Ignaci mentions how all of us meeting seems to be reminiscent of the "Knights of the Broom Closet." He asks a clarifying question on whether we're trying to figure out if the Magaambya, or ourselves have enemies that could have led to this attack.
After the meeting was adjourned, Ignaci makes a comment "oh, we really are the Knights of the Broom Closet right now..." and left with Mariama.
S:10 "All knowledge is based on what we cannot prove. will you fight? or will you perish like a dog?"
When Nymeria was receiving her lessons from the summoner Mishka, Chizire stole Ignaci's sandwich. He was seen running past Nymeria, in pursuit of his sandwich.

Ignaci and Mariama have known each other since childhood. Sometimes Ignaci fusses over Mariama's health much to her chagrin, but the pair have shown a strong bond over their shared hometown, Anthusis.
