Chapter 1: Verse 3: "No, we didn't start the fire." Report

General Summary

The party used the emergency passage in the privy in order to get back to the Great Hall where they had dinner just a mere few hours ago. From here, they learned where Lady Jamandi and the rest of her guard were located and just how many more problems the Black Tears were bringing to the fray. As they continued forward, they discovered more of the evening's guests stuck in some serious situations, including Jaethal to whom was bound by the Black Tears to be taken as a hostage. The party quickly routed those enemies and pressed forward, learning that the west wing was also set ablaze. Using some quick thinking the party was able to extinguish the fires before everyone suffocated from the thick smoke. The party eventually made it to a point where they caught up with Lady Jamandi and the leader of the Black Tears, the fight didn't last long as the ferocity of the party was great after they lost someone they were friends with in the beginning of this whole attack. She was no match for them and was quickly cut down as were the rest of her entourage. The party was last seen helping the guards and house staff honor the fallen and tend to the wounded.
