Personal history
Nathanael was born in his family friend's house, as his mother was unable to get to a church in time. He was born into a moderately well off family in the more middle class section of Lang-Caster. A few years after his birth, his father had descended upon an ancient secret, and was transported into the far realm. His mother, distraught with a great sadness, had given up Nathanael for adoption at the young age of 5. However, he was able to recover from this ill-fated event, and had a relatively good childhood. At age 10, he had accidentally angered a wizard, who had targeted him with a fear spell. At age 13, he befriended Eodwulf Amphala, who lived in one of the slums. When he had reach 20 years of age, he had come across a tome, which had burned his mind with secrets and knowledge that no mortal should ever witness. He had burned the book, but is still haunted by its knowledge, and began having dreams. These dreams where from a creature he could not see, that promised him unyielding power, and great treasure if he were to follow his will. Finally, 2 years later, he had agreed to this pact, and was given another tome, one that writes his dreams down as he sleeps, in words only he can read. Now, after a few more years of working in stores for money, Nathaniel has found a treasure map. He is trying to get an Adventuring license so that he can find the treasure.
