Cavern Under the Stars

The Cavern Under the Stars is a labyrinthine realm in the Elemental Plane of Earth ruled by Geb, the Mulhorandi god of earth and mining.

The realm is a vast pyramidal chamber, 30 miles on each side. The shape of the chamber is not apparent, however, for the upper half is shrouded by a night sky of twinkling stars and midnight blue.

A sprawling city of magnificent stone buildings and temples, similar to those found in the Mulhorandi pantheon's home in Heliopolis, covers the bottom of the cavern. Geb's palace stands at the exact center of the realm, surrounded by a circular river of pure, sweet water.

Visitors to the Cavern Under the Stars find it to be everything they might want in an open-air market, although those who are not skillful bargainers may pay more than they should. Hospitality and friendship are the order of the day, as Geb does not tolerate outright swindlers in his realm.
