The Gentry

More commonly known as the Cannibals, they are what remains of the great Elven Empire. With the coming of the Voice in the First Gnosis, all elves of noble title lost any hesitation, guilt, or social mores. They turned on their social lessers in a great orgy of violence. All non-nobles fled their cities, leaving great monuments to excess and violence. They are now the greatest material threat to all the Kin of Hyarmenor.

Shared customary codes and values

Class Solidarity- Despite their lust for violence and inflicting pain on others the Gentry rarely attack one another, typically seeking out non-nobles to torment. This does not stop them from escalating petty squabbles to violence with regularity, it's just that these conflicts are rarely recreation.
Silver Spoon- Through the use of Magicite powered wonders and constructs all physical needs of the Gentry are cared for. Regardless of their filth or sloth they will never go hungry, suffer illness, or become homeless within their great Mega City homes. They can only be killed by violence
The Springtime Wars- The elven lifespan, quality of life, and carnal interests combine to cause enormous overpopulation issues. Every spring all those Gentry judged to be of age are forced out of the cities in an enormous ravening horde to devour whomever they encounter.
