Goblins

Smallest and most communal of all kin, goblins rely on numbers no only to accomplish physical goals but also decision making. An individual goblin has difficulty focusing on any task save those of life or death danger. Their minds simply jump too often between concerns. However two goblins working together have a much easier time reinforcing a shared goal, three goblins even better, increasing dramatically as the number of goblins increases. It is such that a goblin community will very efficiently execute on any task to benefit the whole group. This causes some difficulty for goblins living in communities built for other more individual focused sorts of kin. To combat this many goblins have developed caffeine or psychedelic drug use to aid in focus.
Though there are myths of a great Under Empire during the Age of Heroes, there have been no truly goblin dominated civilizations within living memory. They are instead usually found in small independent communities or within the gaps of dwarven or orcish cities.
