Shrine of Champions

The Shrine of Champions is a religious site, dedicated to Brawler, a primordial aspect of Banner Bearer in Their guise as the God of Duels, found upon a hilltop within the Plains of Pesht, just south of the Bogwatch. The Shrine of Champions is presided over by a Hound Archon — an angelic servant of Banner Bearer — as well as four other Horned Archons who enforce the strict rules of the magical duel begun when a pilgrim enters the ritual fighting pit at the shrine.
If a champion manages to defeat the Hound Archon, they are awarded great treasures. This was done by Baldwyn Truethorn during his second attempt at the shrine on Marketday, 9th of High-Winter, 1 AE, as part of the seventeenth foray of the Scofflaws' Guild. He was aided in this victory by his companions, Eșec, Kaddie Okrum, Seravain, and Ser Kerridin.
