The Crescent

This very large island sitting off the coast of southern Rallia is all but a frozen tundra. In the summers, it is inhabited by people either to collect special plants and fruits ​or to hunt game. Small huts exist on the coast for fisherman who cannot make it back to the safety of Hyrall or Fort South Point before a storm.

Geography

The island is made up of a rocky shore which ascends into a hilly tundra terrain. Some forests exist on parts of the island, but it is mostly dominated by small grasses.

Fauna & Flora

Flora In the summer months, parts of the island thaw enough for species of grazing Valar to feed and prepare for winter. Some forests stand over parts of the island providing habitat for deer and some small mammals. A species of small berry can be found in the summer months and is a favorite of the local fauna. It has been described as being a bright yellow berry that is very sweet. Attempt to transplant it has​ proven unsuccessful, although a similar berry is known to grow in Glacia.
Fauna It is thought that some sort of predator inhabits the island although it has never been seen, but gnawed remains of animals have been found.

Natural Resources

Some trees have been used to make huts on the island, but otherwise nothing of great importance.
