Lightning Prince

The Lightning Prince is Demir Grappo's nickname. It is given to him by his soldiers during his successful campaign against Holikan.
STORY
After hearing that his soldiers call him the Lightning Prince, Demir Grappo wonders if it is meant as a jab at his age or in celebration of the speed of his campaign. When his army sacks Holikan against his wishes, Demir tells Capric Vorcien to report to everyone that "the Lightning Prince is dead" before going into self-imposed exile.
Later, when reporting his narrow victory over Devia Kerite, he writes to the Inner Assembly that "The Lightning Prince met the Purnian Dragon on the field of battle and was victorious."
