Floweret Sheep

This is a type of sheep that has a flowery scent. Each sheep has their own scent depending on the flower that is scattered on their body. The wool that you will get from them is soft, silky, and smooth which is why their wool is traded all over Gixíra. Because their body is partially flowers, the wool decays after five to six years. They are one of the most domesticated animals on the Vernal Continent.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Floweret Sheep will always have six or four flowers scattered around their body which makes them have a flowery fragrance. Their noses are also different colored depending on their gender. Their tail looks a Conical Spring that has a snow puff on the end.

Biological Traits

If a Floweret Sheep have six flowers on their body they are docile, but if the sheep has only four flowers on its body then it is hostile. To differentiate male to female Floweret Sheep, the male always have a color black nose. Also to know if a Floweret Sheep is a female, the color of their nose corresponds to the color of the flower scattred on their body.

Growth Rate & Stages

A Floweret Sheep would grow into an adult after eight to nine months. For every year, a Floweret Sheep grows a flower on their body. If they don't grow a flower on their body after four years and beyond then it is expected that they will be hostile.

Ecology and Habitats

A Floweret Sheep would live on somewhere where there is no strong scents, because of their strong sense of smell. So that's why they mostly live on plains, especially near lakes or rivers for them to have easy access for water. But the first thing the Floweret Sheep does is to scout the place it it's suitable for them. If the area has no strong scents, a lake or river, and multiple grass then it it is the most suitable place for the sheep.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Because they are partially a flower, their diet contains so much water. If I specify the type of water that's needed is freshwater. Most of Floweret Sheep from time to time would eat berries. So their diet consist of many freshwater, grass, weeds, and sometimes berries or corn.

Biological Cycle

They let their flowers decay for a few months to grow a new set of flowers. If they let their flower wilt, they would still need to have one that's not going to decay. Occasionally they'll drop wool that's on their body if they feel hot. If winter comes, they would always be close to each other or go somewhere warm. Also when winter is coming, their flowers are getting smaller and smaller. They do this for the flower to not wither when it's cold.

Additional Information

Domestication

A Floweret Sheep is only going to be domesticated if they are trained when they are a lamb. The chances for the sheep to be hostile if is very low. Another way to tame a Floweret Sheep is to feed them for a month. There are some times that it is tamed in a week, but people are going to feed the Floweret Sheep for a month just in case. While giving this species food, the chance of it being domesticated is low but the progress is fast. On the other hand, training them as a lamb up to the stage where they are an adult is a long progress but it will be always successful.

Uses, Products & Exploitation

They produce Floweret Wool that is used to make a smooth and silky fabric. Then the fabric is traded across Gixíra, or used to make multiple things. The fabric can be used on clothes or bed sheets, curtains, etc. The wool from a Floweret Sheep is suitable to make yarn that is also traded around the world. Their flowers are used to make scented powder that people burn which deducted the use on scented candles.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Most of these species live on Gratinin Plains. The first Floweret Sheep that was discovered near the lake of Gratinin Plains. The reason of that is that they would always live near accessible fresh water like lakes, rivers, etc. There are also groups of Floweret Sheep living on tundras, or mountains. There's also a slim chance to see a Floweret Sheep in the forest, the chance is slim but at least there's a chance to see one. This is only for all of the non-domesticated Floweret Sheep.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

This type of sheep has a very strong sense of smell. A Floweret Sheep also use it if their environment is suitable for them. The suitable environment for a Floweret Sheep is a place where there are multiple grass, but the most important for a Floweret Sheep is more freshwater. They also use it if they sense that there's a predator.
Facts
Floweret Sheep is one of the popular fauna, because of the most useful wool that boosted the trade of all around Gixíra. It also helped the economy of Gixíra especially  the whole Vernal Continent due to the product that the sheep can produce. As a result, the animal is domesticated in multiple places so that it can keep its purpose to the society. But the animal is mostly found on Gratinin Plains, since the terrain is suitable for the animal.
One thing that most people on other continents didn't know is that a Floweret Sheep can die if all of their flowers is dead, has wilt, or was pulled of the animal. That is the reason that their flowers shrink so the flower will not die in winter.
