Whitesburg
Whitesburg is a major port city in the center of Iyass. it is bordered by the Sedna Ocean to the west and the Tangaroa Ocean to the east.
Whitesburg has become the epicenter for the War against the Draconic Imperium. The The city is currently occupied by Republican forces.
Demographics
Before the war, Whitesburg was primarily inhabited by Halfings, Gnomes and Tieflings. However, since the fall of Venmaya the city has been mostly evacuated, leaving very few residents aside from the Republic and it's coalition.
Defences
The city is surrounded by a large, 35 ft reinforced concrete wall as well as intricate trenchlines, fields of razor wire, and landmines. This is done to frustrate any attackers. Inside the walls, hundreds of howitzers that can launch 200 pound shells over 20 miles.
It has been said that Whitesburg is more secure than most proper forts.
Infrastructure
Whitesburg has a large port that accomodates close to 10,000 ships per year. A canal has been dug through the center of the city to facilitate trade between the Sedna and Tangaroa oceans.
The Republic has contructed a large airfield in the city for the purposes of logistics as well as military operations.
History
Whitesburg is a city that has a history of many sieges and battles due to it's strateigiclly important location. In the first two Draconic Crusades, the city was besiged and captured, after which it was razed by Imperial forces.
Before the Fourth Draconic Crusade, the city was ruled by the Venmaya Trade Guild, who used it to send goods across both oceans. After the guild fell to the Imperium, the Republicans took over the city and used it to defend against the Imperial Army.
The ongoing Battle Of Whitesburg has become the deadliest battle in Ghala's history.
Tourism
Given the ongoing war, tourism to the city is non existant. Many nations disallow all but military travel to the city.

Whitesburg is home to mostly stone and wood structures.
Geography
Whitesburg is located on a plain that reguraly sees rain and thunderstorms year round. Before the war, southern Whitesburg was known for it's flat farmland mostly used to grow wheat and rice.
