Nicole Astell

Nicole Astell just wants to do her damn job. Long ago it was prophesized that she and a few others would defend reality as we know it from extraplanar effects seeking to destroy it. She was destined to become a Hero of the Hall, one of the few in history to be allowed inside the Hall of Mirrors. She traveled to many different realities defending them from the universe warping powers of the outer god Cthulhu. She slew countless enemies and honed her skills to unimaginable levels, all the meanwhile holding a job at a nearby police station. She was later reborn as an einherjar to fight in the battle at the end of time.

Despite all of her amazing feats, Nicole possessed no supernatural abilities.

Apparel & Accessories

Nicole was never fond of over-the-top outfits, preferring simple jackets and hoods to conceal her identity when investigating.

Specialized Equipment

Nicole specialized in alchemy and was able to produce several alchemical products capable of augmenting her mental and physical abilities to superhuman levels. She also carried a firearm of her own design capable of firing incredibly long distances and doing godlike damage to anything in her sight.

Nicole studied at the Isibel Royal University. She studied crime investigation, alchemy, and mechanical engineering and graduated after only a year and a half with flawless grades.

Employment

Nicole was employed in the Isibel police force as a detective. She solved several crimes during her time there including discovering where a nearby cult of Azel was based and discovering who their leader was.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Nicole was a hero of legend and accomplished many things in her life. She stopped a cult of Azel from destroying the city of Isibel. She fulfilled the prophecy of the Hall of Mirrors and managed to defend it from the outer god, Cthulhu. She also progressed firearm technology at an alarming rate.

Intellectual Characteristics

Nicole was incredibly intelligent, becoming a world-class alchemist, engineer, and detective before the end of her life. She was even intelligent enough to earn the respect of the guardian of Tower Evermoon.

Nicole was a strict believer in the rule of law. As a follower of Drothgam, she valued nothing more than the rules of civilization and would enforce them whenever possible.

Nicole is motivated by her intense desire to uphold the law by any means necessary. Her greatest loyalty is to the city of Isibel and its citizens. She is also motivated by her love of science and knowledge in general, constantly working on new experiments or her next engineering project.

She's wonderful, and incredibly relatable. She's the type of character I would play in a campaign, and a wonderful selection of art. Very well crafted.
