Orichalcum (ore-eh-kal-cum)

Orichalcum, Orichalcon, Orikalkos, or Sunsteel is an alloy of several metals: pirmarily bronze and gold with a few other trace metals. Though simply combining these metals alone is not enough to create the metal Orichalcum. It is thought that the creation of this metal was taught to mortals some heavenly beings during times of great trouble and. The exact means of forging this particular metal is a closely guarded secret.   It is an exceedingly rare metal even more so than Adamantine and Mithril. It is thought to be the metal of the gods, as it is primarily used by Clerics and Paladins, whose orders are some of the few who know how to forge this miraculous metal. Tales tell of these weapons being unable to harm creatures of the world, only threatening outsiders that try to encroach on the world.
