Sapphire Caves

This vast cave system is full of dark areas and mystery. Inside the caves is cold and the air is thinner than outside due to a limited amount of areas with natural ventilation.

The area surrounding one of the cave's known entrances is surrounded by a grassy hilltop which helps conceal the entrance from view. While the area inside the caverns is low on light except for veins of sapphire that glow eerily in the darkness.

No plant life grows within the caverns but various odd colored mushrooms and other fungi manage to prosper. Some smaller animals like bats, rats, and snakes also call the cave home.
