Power Generation

Airships of Nealthys are powered by a large chunk of Sardiorite, at least a foot in diameter, attached in the core of the vessel. Its attachment to the ship allows its magical energy to permeate through the material of the rest of the ship, allowing it to take flight when piloted by a properly trained pilot.

Weapons & Armament

Not all nealthian airships are equipped with weaponry. Those that are remain few and far between, but are generally constructed as part of the monarch's Imperial Fleet, or outfitted as such by pirates and others with ill intent. They are outfitted with ballistae that require several people to arm and operate, but deal lots of damage to the hull of an opposing ship.

Armor and defense

Nealthian airships are constructed mostly of white cedar wood found in Nealthys, which allows it to be buoyant and light, yet still decently durable. Some airships, like those in the Imperial Fleet, or outfitted by pirates, are outfitted with titanium platings that increase durability and reduce damage. All Imperial Ships are also outfitted with thin sheets of lead between the titanium and the wood so as to prevent the crew from being scried upon while travelling.

Communication Tools & Systems

Nealthian airships are outfitted with modified sending stones that, rather than just sending to the other stone, and with a restriction of once per day, it allows the user to instead send to anyone of their choice any number of times per day, much like a radio that can be targeted to a person. Most often, this is used to communicate with the captains of passing ships, as well as with skyport officials.

Hangars & docked vessels

Airship ports are tall towers with many docking ports across multiple stories, and are often very costly to produce. As such, only a handful of Airship ports exist in the world, and most of them are in capital or otherwise large cities across Lanora. They are found in the following cities:
