Myrham

Myrham was a small hamlet of about 60 Yurts and a few timber buildings set along the rolling hills between the Morceaux and Upper Poltava rivers. The village is surrounded by farmland where the villagers divided up the land into smaller fields with fences and tall bushes, where they raise livestock. The village was located northwest of the city of Arriset about 12 miles from the Morceaux river. There is no true road between Arriset and Myrham, instead just a path through the grasslands. There are 5 large Half-Orc families that live in the hamlet, they settled here due to its remote location and religious significance

Demographics

The population of Myrham is 20% Human with 80% being of other races. The people are impoverished, around half of the village struggles to carve out even a meager existence.

Government

The village has no individual leader but instead owes fealty to a Arriset and looks to them for guidance of government questions.

Defences

Myrham has no formal law enforcement. In instances where the town feels an issue needs to be addressed a mob quickly forms with little to no organization.

Industry & Trade

The village has a bakery, a weaver, a cobbler, an amphitheater, and a gathering hall for community-organized activities.

Infrastructure

Myrham is dilapidated, everything is in a state of disrepair with some buildings that look as if they could fall down. Many of the structures have been built in a shoddy fashion, and it is evident that cleanliness is not a priority here.

Assets

The village raises animals to be slaughtered for meat, including cattle, pigs, and sheep.

Tourism

The streets and shops are generally busy within the village. The locals actively enjoy visitors and their culture incorporates this as just about anyone is welcome.

Architecture

The village is made up of a series of Yurts. These tent-like structures that come to a curved peak due to the bend of their wooden ribs intersecting at the top (Can be quickly taken down and moved).
