E’i Anore

E’i Anore, is a very large Elven town with over a thousand structures. E'i Anore is often referred to as the Town of the Alabaster Spires. It stands at the western edge of the Whispwood forest, where it meets the fertile plains of Alenthor. The design of the buildings is almost organic looking with white stone spires and beautiful fountains. E’i Anore is run by the council of elders, who are prominent members of the community who were chosen to lead the town collectively. E’i Anore isn't very far from the ruin known as Melander's Hold, which often leads to adventurers coming to the town for information or supplies. The town has numerous livestock farms in the area and also exports Mithral Armor, Barrels, and Cotton.

Demographics

The population of E’i Anore is 60% Elven, with the remaining 40% being of a wide variety of races. the majority of the people are wealthy, nearly everyone has what they need to live comfortably, many are able to live well, and some are very prosperous.

Government

E’i Anore is run by a council of Elders where prominent members of the community are chosen to lead the town collectively.

Defences

E’i Anore is fortified and surrounded by a substantial timber palisade. The wall is able to be patrolled by guards on a raised walkway. Visitors to the city pass through a main gate that is barred in the evenings. A few watch towers are placed around the city, though are likely sporadic, E’i Anore has a strong town watch that is run by a seasoned captain with two lieutenants, a few corporals, and an ample quantity of boots on the ground. Presence allows for extra patrols and well-rested guards. There is no military presence within the town.

Industry & Trade

The town has attained a mild degree of success and visibility in the region. E’i Anore imports Pigs, Precious Gems, and Chickens and exports Mithral Armor, Barrels, and Cotton. The market is tight and it only has room for a few key vendor stalls. Vendor stalls are acquired on a first-come first-served basis. Merchants line up prior to market day and those at the front of the line are given first pick of the available stall spaces, provided they can pay the fee for the day. Excess vendors are encouraged to set up stalls outside the town, if they are unable to get a spot in the square. There are maintained areas available for use and provided on a first-come first-served basis. When in use by vendors, this area is regularly patrolled, if law enforcement personnel can be spared.

Infrastructure

The town has been well managed, with all of the fundamental elements being accounted for and well attended to. Whoever is responsible is doing an admirable job.

  • A magical clothing shop while it seems disorganized there are a good amount of items.
  • A club the offerings are lacking not only in quantity but in quality as well. Grime and filth is evident throughout the shop, the odors are an affront to your sense of smell.
  • An arcane academics hired help service the shopkeep is eager to assist you and show off a wide array of high quality items. There is a wonderful aroma of incense or perfume that permeates the shop.

Tourism

The town is a hub of activity, the shopkeepers are happy with a steady flow of patrons. Locals are generally friendly, welcoming, and slow to take offense.

The structures in the town are made up of pure white rock and other natural materials. The design of the buildings is almost organic looking with small towers and fountains.

Geography

E’i Anore sits in the dark and budding forest with its canopy of asp, pine, and walnut.  Plenty of light passes through the canopies crowns for a patchwork of herbs to take advantage of the soft, rich soils below. Swooping creepers dangled from most trees, and a hodgepodge of flowers, which were unique to this region, looked almost out of place in the otherwise amber terrain.
