Firefish

Firefish are an uncommon type of glowing fish that sleep during day time and rise to the surface at nights to feed on the insects attracted by their luminescent scales. In broad daylight, the fish are dull brown, but in darkness their scales start to glow bright red, giving them the name.
The fish live in the warm Mare Crystallum south of Chronan. The pink meat of the firefish is a great delicacy in Brimstone Island.
