Chaos Mongrel

Chaos Mongrels are canine creatures said to have been mutated by chaotic energy released by The Fellstar thousands of years ago. They resemble wolves or wild dogs, but have a muscular, hairless body, and an uneven number of fangs and claws and eyes.
Chaos Mongrels hunt in packs and breed rapidly, which is why it has been impossible to exterminate them from the wilderness of Chronan. There are hunters specializing in hunting them down, but also people who have managed to tame some as pets or guard hounds - which is illegal and sacrilegious in all Eight States.
