The Nation of Pearls is one of the most powerful nations in the world, boasting the world's biggest navy and a higher technology level than its neighbors. It is ruled by First Citizen Goodwine VII.
Structure
The First Citizen (King) rules the nation. There is also a council that can veto his decisions (though he can veto theirs). There is also a high mage that wields considerable power.
Culture
They believe they rule the sea and that parrots are wise.

The First Citizen and the council promise to bring greatness to the nation, by first taking what is rightfully theirs (The Sea of Black Gold) and then destroying their enemies (buon vio zivef duple)

The population of the nation is 12,000,000. They have a military of 100,000 soldiers. The treasury contains 17,410 gold, and 22,070 silver.
History
The nation was founded in 2 AR by Goodwine I. In the year 44 AR, the first Goodwine I declared that he would take The Sea of Black Gold by force. A long campaign ensued, first with the taking of Farsail, then the occupation of beudal deg. Next Goodwine I led his campaign to the northeast, in an attempted invasion of vustoubeukredar za, but he utterly failed and died of sickness on the journey home. The Nation of Pearls gradually lost its holds except for the city of Farsail. The nation still claims the sea though (as do most surrounding nations) and sometimes patrols its waters. Though that does not stop Pirates. The next First Citizen of the nation was Goodwine II. his reign was uneventful. he died hi 124 AR. The next leader, Seastealer I, wanted to intervene in the Kua-Toa civil war. they briefly bombarded and took ced lors before leaving. he died in 209 AR. The next First Citizen, Oceanfast I, died in 239 AR of assassination because he was not well-liked, having banned the giant language. The next ruler's reign (Oceanfast II) went peacefully, and many technological improvements were made. then came Goodwine III's reign. The Nation of Pearls declared war on buon vio zivef duple under the First Citizen Godwine III because buon vio zivef duple had supposedly stolen the king's golden Pearl (a symbol of the nation). The war ended with territory taken from buon vio zivef duple and made into the colonies. Goodwine III died of a heart attack in 375 AR. then came the time of three kings, when three kings went by in 60 years. the first (Goodwine IV) died of an assassination attempt. then his Brother(Goodwine V) and son (Goodwine VI) fought for the throne. his brother won and exiled Goodwine IV to Sinsquifuo buom. with the promise of an alliance, Sinsquifuo Buom helped Goodwine IV gain the throne. this is how the alliance and trade agreement was made between the nation of pearls and Sinsquifuo buom. he died of cancer in 434 AR. then the current First Citizen took power, Goodwine VII.

- The Isle of Sea: the homeland of the Vedalken, it is a landmass split up by a network of canals and rivers. the Vedalken capital is in the center.
- Farsail: a city in The Sea of Black Gold that had been integrated into the Nation of Pearls as an autonomous region.
- The Colonies: A territory on the mainland of the eastern continent, it was taken from buon vio zivef duple 100 years ago and they are currently at war trying to take it back.
Military
Their army is 686,000 soldierss strong, with 100 ships. theya re outfited with chainmail and iron helmets, crossbows, iron spears, longswords, and shortswords.
Technological Level
It has a slightly higher level of technology than its neighbors. It has ballista mounted on its ships (which are huge), and its ship is also better. The nation has improved medicine and institutions and also has prototypes for fire-spears.
Religion
They are strong believers in The Church of Light and the holy. They even have banned speaking Giant, the language of the dark lord tyushpu nuntonhi.
Foreign Relations
The Nation is currently at war with buon vio zivef duple, and they have bad relations with vustoubeukredar za, beudal deg, azoer spans za, nelpespans za, and Pirates (because they have claims on the Sea of Black Gold). They have good relations and a trade deal with sinsquifuo buom.
Agriculture & Industry
They have control over the trade of the rare resaurces of whale blubber and shark finn. They also grow a lot of grains and are good with marble (though they do not have many deposites).
Trade & Transport
They have a trade agreement with sinsquifuo buom. sinsquifuo buom gives them marble, and they get gold and whale. There is a great network of heavily guarded canals and rivers on their home island that is used for trade.
Education
Most of the population is middle class and very well educated. in fact, the Nation of Pearls is the most highly educated country in Geamire.
Infrastructure
There are lots of canals and rivers throught the land and lots of docks, so it is the main mode of transport. there are alos lote of paved roads and bridges.
