King Histoph Turien

King Histoph is the second king of the Kingdom of Serica. During the first few years of his reign he decided to take the Dwarven holds in the Mydon Peaks starting off the events of the First War of the Broken Holds. He is also attributed to saving the kingdom from that same war along with the sacrifice of House Brodik. King Histoph was not the child of the first king and was instead elected by the other households. King Histoph started the tradition of selecting his children as the next monarch of Serica, a tradition that lasted until the Hegemony was formed.
King Histoph is the most hated historical figure in the eyes of the dwarves and is even used as an insult in Dwarven culture.
King Histoph is seen very positively in the eyes of modern day Serica as they still benefit from the mines he captured so many years ago, but there were plenty of households who were worried and ready to overthrow them had the siege of Amydon not turned out the way it did.
