The Mukan Calendar
The calendar that is still in use throughout the Island today is the old Mukan calendar, recovered after the Foaba. In this calendar there are nine months in a year, each lasting 27 days. The year is split into three seasons of 81 days (three months) each. Months

Each month contains three nine-day weeks, consisting of a Chizho - a three day block of holy days - and a Simzho - a six day block of standard days.

- 1st of Suezho - Kazh Kyen - the New Year and first day of Efan
- 12th-13th of Zoia - Usukwanso - an annual event in Tayon Ke honoring the guilds
- 12th of Syhiza - Rämso - Bramin's annual celebration of the building of the bridge
- 11th of Nygue - Winsano - the annual harvest festival of Bramin
- 19th-27th of Nygue - Heopko - annual Gathering of the Flames in Gueta Ko
- 3rd of Zhihua - Ata Zhan - an all-night ritual honoring the Moon Mother in Gueta Ko
- 19th of Zhihua - Cheban Mit - The Great Remembering - memorial of the Foaba
