Eastern elven states launch war to free themselves from rule of Lanoirenn.
Eastern elven states used to be political subjects of Kingdom of Lanoirenn, subservient and too weak to attempt to change that. This situation remained for many centuries.
It finally changed after forces of archdaemon Ashbringer brought ruin to Lanoirenn only to be defeated by forces of Polenya and its allies. Following this, the ambitions of polenyan sorcerer-kings grew.
It finally erupted few years later, resulting in First Polenyan War, as Polenya amassed its power and attacked Lanoirenn. The war, however, ends with tie and return to status quo, with exception of Lanoirenn mostly losing its influence over formerly subject states.
