Khem felt humiliated by its defeat during the last war with Inrithia, but its own period of struggle between nomarchs prevented it from making such attempt.

  However, when a particularly strong pharaoh gained power over Khem - one strong enough to put nomarchs in line - the course of events was obvious. Fortunately for Khem, it coincided with the rule of particularly weak king, allowing the succesfull reconquest.
