On far north of the continent, elves that escaped from humans form what later will be known as Ice Kingdoms.
After snow elves fled north, they splintered into many smaller clans, with many competing sorcerer-kings, that also had to fight razors and beastmen.
This opened long and bloody period in their history, which ended due to their leading caste of ice elves indulging more and more in dark, forbidden magicks, and subjugating their enemies with it.
