Kraad Technocracy achieves first of its goal - the perfect mechanization of their society.
After prolonged and heated research, the Kraads achieve first parts of their goal of achieving immortality to avoid being taken responsible for atrocities commited on Syhon Mir.
They abandoned their organic bodies for ones mechanized to the point of not being able to die. Not only the Kraads currently alive were mechanized, but also those that died in the meantime in hope that this will allow them to avoid the retaliation too.
From now on, the Kraads no longer reproduce. In fact, their number steadily dwindle as more and more of them abandon their new bodies for a purely spiritual existence inside of massive magic crystals hidden deep beneath their cities. Soon first of their cities are abandoned.
With them slowly disappearing, an important barrier that slowed down human expansion is destroyed.
