As Hetarian forces advance on holy city of Aktaab, Inrithian decide to invite Khem into the ongoing war.

Hetarian forces decimated western and northern lands of Inrithia for several years, steadily weakening kingdom before making the decisive campaign targeted at holy city of Aktaab.

If the city fell, it would be decisive blow to inrithian morale. However, its defenders - fueled by zealotry - repelled any assaults on their city, engaging the besieging forces in prolonging war of attrition, not backing down even when Hetarians resorted to terror tactics to break them.

All this while king of Inrithia - together with vast cavalry forces - launched a long series of raids against besieging army and its supply lines, slowly weakening it.

What became a breakthrough in the was was Khem intervention, invited by the king himself. The culmination of the war was the battle for Aktaab, a three day long battle in front of the city that ended with hetarian defeat, leading to swift reconquest of most lands lost in First Eastern War (with exception of several border cities and castles the inrithian 'sold' to Khem for its help).
