Prolonged border frictions between dryad domains and the western elves leads to Third Forest War.
Border friction between western elves and dryad domains in the middle of their territory continued even after Second Forest War, made both better and worse by the aftermath of Red Year.
On one hand a deforestation efforst mostly ceased due to general collapse of local industry, on other hand scavenging for food started occuring en masse, with casualties increasing general dislike that elves felt for the dryads.
It finally culminated during Third Forest War, when elves decided to launch war to exterminate their own 'lesser deities', burning forests of western and Central Karathia.
War finally led to succesfull deforesting of large patches of Karathia, however it also caused devastating loses for many western kingdoms, especially Astrena.
