Under increasing Alvaenan pressure, king Hlodwig I unites several human tribes on northern Astaryan Plains.
Alvaena was hit hard by the general collapse of Elven Empire, as it losts most of its trade partners together with it.
It spend most of the centuries since then in a state of nigh perpetual collapse, with dragarian and niflheimian raiders attempting to exploit this weakness. It was, however, slowly recovering from it.
The increased pressure on the continent led to barbarian warlord Hlodwig unifying several tribes under his own tribe of Frankians, founding the Frankish Kingdom.
