Goðræn (GAHTH.rine)
Goðræn, commonly known as the 'God General' or by his epithet 'Battleraven', is the god of war, tactics, and strategy, one of the family of creation gods known as the Nostín. He is the son of Væð the Enduring and the god giant Sigdurn.
Though endowed with the same dark skin and ability to take a Dire Raven form as his mother, he is often compared to Rígge the Great Eagle for his fierce blue-eyed gaze. While the God General's scrutiny can certainly hit one with an almost physical force, and his vision does indeed rival that of Rígge and his kin, Goðræn's cunning, foresight, and cleverness are entirely those of the ravens. In battle, he will use his avian form to survey his foes, then descend to direct his allies onward to victory. In times of peace, he spends most all his days with Sigdurn his father, sparring, drinking, and recounting tales of battle.
