Maria's broaching (crowing) marked the first year of the knew era. An era of safety and security in Orori for the fist time since the Age of isolation.

Considered the last day of Religious Freedom or fiefdom as many called it in its later years, the population at large started a knew calendar for the whole continent as there was previously no central dating system. This day was marked by the coordination of the continents first Empress and revolt leader Maria Mora.
