The Tides

Magic comes and goes flowing like the tides controlled by the celestial bodies but constant as the water. As the two suns of Gandrain orbit each other the speeds allow for one to shine on the planet more than the other, for a period of about 4000 to 6000 thousand years before the other moves in front of it. Only one of the suns has the correct radiation to fuel what the inhabitants call magic.
