Fain

The Fain is a general term referred to anyone who has what are considered rare or magical features, these can be anything from unique coloring to the elongated ears more common in forest folk. Though the features can vary from internal to external the term is more to reference unique genetic features. 
When the term first came to use its technical definition where those of Faenen decent. This referred specially to humans who's only call back to their face ancestors was their physical form, a halfling with a longer lifespan would be considered more Far then human, as time went on and the fair folk seemed more myth then reality the term Fain came into use to describe those who had any unique feature. 
Faenen when used correctly can't be used to describe any one of mixed race with certain features because these features are more far then human, theses features include but aren't limited bone protrusions such as horns, antlers or claws. Any change to the eye that makes it twice the size of a humans or apear animal in nature such as slit pupils or second eyelids. Also any change to the skins texture.
