Hamida is the daughter of Nazim Amul. She has lived most of her life in the shadow of her father, but has recently started to make a reputation for herself, having become an accomplished chemist. She has not yet been able to make her own business of it though as her extended family (the powerful Amuls) have chosen to rely instead on Arnol Federman and his company, Firebrand Chemicals.
